HackNow is a pan-European coding contest for under 18-year olds.

The rules are simple: you have to be resident in one of the European Union countries and be of the age 17 or less by the time you submit your entry. Entries must be submitted by August 31st, 23.59 CET.
If you are over the age of 18 but still want to participate and support the young development talent in Europe, you can sign up to be a HackNow Referrer. We rely on you to champion the contest, promote it, and review some of the entries for the judges.

First prize €2,000 + $5,000 in AWS credit.
Second prize €1,000 + $2,500 in AWS credit.
Third prize €500 + $1,000 in AWS credit
+ 2-year Gold membership with Treehouse for all three winners
Additionally, all 30 shortlisted entrants get 1-year Silver membership with Treehouse
You are allowed to use any public APIs, open-source components or creative commons material according to their licenses of agreement. You must submit your application to us by August 31st, 23.59 GMT by filling in the following form. The contest is open to residents of the EU, Norway, Iceland & Switzerland. You must complete the contest entry yourself - team entries are not accepted this year.
The jury consists of industry leaders, tech advocates and founders with a special interest in fostering the emerging talent in Europe. They will select the winning entries by end of September.
